Our subsidiary Rester, the first plant in northern Europe to open end-of-life textiles on a large scale to turn them into recycled fibre is now ready to begin operating. Business is roaring with the establishment of partnerships for both incoming and outgoing secondary fibre.

We have the honour to be included in the "41 pioneering Finnish circular economy companies" list made by the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra.

The Vellamo apron, which we launched in April, has traveled to Helsinki Boulevard for trial use at Lapland Hotels. The apron is circular economy at it's best as the fabric is 200% recycled and is made from old Pure Waste products.
