Different type of workwear project with scouts

6.9.2022

The international Kajo 2022 camp for scouts was celebrated in July 15.7. - 23.7. At Evo in Hämeenlinna. The camp is organized only every six years and this year it gathered more than 13 000 scouts to Evo's forest camp. More than 700 scouts arrived from abroad, from 21 different countries. We had the honor of being part of Kajo by delivering the scout neckerchiefs to all the campers. We got a lot of happy feedback about them, and it was great to see lots of smiling faces wearing our neckerchiefs.

Evo's camp can almost be compared to a small town in terms of its infrastructure, and even though there are some solid structures in the area, it still required a huge amount of work from the organizers. It is worth mentioning that Kajo had e.g. Finland's largest tent sauna (holding 130 sauna guests) and a large performance stage with a different type of program every night for the joy of scouts. The ideology of the camp itself is strongly based on sustainability and that the big event is organized as sustainably as possible. At the camp, scouts are also taught a lot of useful life skills, they exercise in a variety of ways and experience memorable moments with their old and new camp mates.
