Circular Economy Morning
Last Thursday, we had this year's first circular economy morning event in a sunny atmosphere in Lauttasaari. This time, we had two very interesting speakers on the topic of sustainability. The morning began with Ali Harlin from Infinited Fiber Company, followed by Arttu Lahti from Green Carbon.
First, we heard a summary of the challenges in the European textile industry and a closer look at Infited Fiber Company's journey so far. Ali Harlin led the audience from the beginning of carbamate technology to the next possible milestones in the Finnish textile industry. All the listeners were excited about the upcoming production facility in Kemi and the company's future potential with Infinna fiber.
After the break, Arttu Lahti from Green Carbon went through the current rules of the voluntary carbon market and the current state of climate claims according to the Finnish government's guide published earlier this year. Arttu had prepared a clear summary of this 150-page publication for the audience, and it was a pleasure to see that such a complex topic had been packaged into a listener-friendly whole.
Once again, a big thank you to the speakers for their very interesting presentations and to the audience for the good discussion!
