Marski by Scandic

The renewed Marski is all about urban life and Finnfullness. Sustainability is also at the heart of everything they do. When choosing the new workwear collection for the hotel, it was important all materials used were ecological.

Expressing personality

Scandic Hotels values the ability for each employee to express their own personality. The company has been awarded as a Great Place to Work in the last few years. This was a wonderful starting point for us when designing the workwear collection for Finland’s first Signature hotel. The collection includes a number of accessories, such as headwear, bows and ties, that brighten the workday. We also wanted to communicate the sustainability of the workwear to hotel guests. Each apron includes a small but powerful message: “I used to be a bottle”. Recycled plastic bottles were used in the production of the materials.

Product demands

Sustainability and Finnish design as well as the possibility for employees to choose details and accessories that best suit them.

Chosen materials

The bows and ties have been produced in Finland from recycled materials.

After the opening we wanted to organise a photoshoot at the new hotel and Marski’s employees agreed to be our models. During the shoot we were glad to hear from the staff: “this is the best workplace ever”. We highly recommend stopping by Marski for a drink. The elegant hotel has a great, relaxed atmosphere and true Finnfullness.
